David Wilcox is a friend of ours who has come out to play here in Kelowna a few times over the last couple of years and there are a few things that separate him from the rest of civilization:

  1. his laugh
  2. his songwriting
  3. his ability to be embrace every living moment as a gift

In this short little “Airstream Musings” conversation with author, speaker, activist, and public theologian Brian McLaren, he shares about who and what inspires him. David has a particularly refreshing perspective on embracing struggles & conflict… “this is not something to fix, this is something that fixes us…”

Hopefully this will encourage you to find peace in the struggle of whatever it is you’re creating, doing, or battling…

A couple of other things that you may find inspiring along this topic are:

BOOK: The War of Art
It’s all about “overcoming Resistance” so that you can achieve “the unlived life within.”

DOCUMENTARY: It Might Get Loud
(Especially Jack White’s perspective on why he buys crappy, beat up guitars that are hard to play)
