We’re so excited to be hosting the 3rd annual Lille Gard Festival this year on the grounds of Bo.ttega. Over the past couple of years, Lille Gard Festival has been a grassroots celebration of music lovers, folk / rock / indie / jazz musicians, visual artists, some campers, and a good excuse to hang out for the weekend. This year we will feature visual arts, short film, activist speakers, poetry and of course all the music your ears can handle with a theme of Arts, Faith, and Justice.
June 30 – July 1, 2012

Lille Gard Festival started in 2010 with a few hundred musicians, artists, and music-lovers gathering over the Canada Day long weekend who simply believed in the idea of sharing community together. It had a backyard party vibe where everyone played and came for free. This year we are proud to be partnering with Bo.ttega Farm Inn (http://bo.ttega.com ) which means that we can build on the vision by incorporating this incredible venue. We hope to attract 1000 attendees over the weekend.

LILLE GARD DISCUSSION SERIES
Leading up to the festival, we are hosting a discussion series which supports the heart of what we’re about and wanting to promote: ARTS, FAITH, JUSTICE. We’re really excited to be able to host 3 varied events with different focuses including some incredibly inspiring artists and activists. All events will also take place up in Bottega.
New York Times Best Seller Author William P. Young (author of The Shack) will share about his experiences and insight on how his art has had an affect on people. There will be music, wine, discussion, and a time for Q&A.
This will be a time to highlight some local artists from a variety of disciplines giving TEN artists TEN minutes each with a TEN dollar admission. This will truly be a small taste of Lille Gard.
